BRIDAL LOOK MUST HAVES

Make-up that lasts through the heat, the tears, and the photoshoot. (A good 12 to 14 hours of staying power.)

Beautiful, flawless, glowing skin.

A look that's natural, yet defines every feature.

Even if your opting for eyes with more definition and drama.  The first thing you should say after your application is, "wow it looks so natural."

Low maintenance lips.  Unless your used to wearing color, or perhaps a back-up color just for pictures.

Waterproof mascara and liner.

OTHER THINGS TO CONSIDER BEFORE THE TRIAL

Try to book on a day where you have ample time to wear it around.  Even better, if you have somewhere special you need to be, or you have engagement photos book it then.

Are you a classic beauty bride, more about minimalism and softness, a glamour girl or are you all about sophistication?

What level of a make-up wearer are you on a day to day basis? Smokey eyes and lashes on a girl who wears mascara and lipgloss probably won't feel comfortable for you.

It's a good idea to flip through a few magazines before meeting with your make-up for the trial.  From there you and your artist can work together to determine the perfect colors and look for you.

Remember the trial is meant for both you and your artist to fine tune your look.  After she leaves takes pictures inside and outside, gather feedback from friends. Shortly after give specific feedback to your artist. 9 times out of 10 the trial is always perfect however, art is a process and so is this! With the right adjustments she'll have you looking picture perfect for the day of your wedding.

BRIDE, BRIDAL PARTY, and MOMS

Of course it's always a question of budget, but if you can work it, a party that's pulled together and polished (especially for photos) makes the day feel even more special for everyone.

WEDDING P.M. and A.M PREPARATIONS

Have a glass of hot water and lemon to detox and cleanse the body.  Lemon is a natural diuretic that will get rid of any extra salt, toxins or water retention by morning.         

Cucumber slices ready to go in the fridge the night before to depuff those tired morning eyes.

Exfoliate the lips with a bit of sugar and apply lip balm for soft morning lips.
